Bob Engels joins Centraal Beheer PPI
Tilburg, 28 September 2026 – Bob Engels will step down as Director of Operations at Achmea Bank with effect from 1 October 2026. On the same date, he will be appointed Chair of the Management Board of Centraal Beheer PPI, Achmea’s premium pension institution.
Bob Engels has been with Achmea since 2004, during which time he has held various management positions. After working in Life Insurance, Income Insurance and IT, he joined Achmea Bank in 2015. He has served as Director of Operations there since early 2024.
The process of appointing Bob Engels’ successor at Achmea Bank is currently under way. The recruitment process has now started. We will provide further information as soon as it becomes available.
